Generation New Build Staffing & Organizational Development | What We Did
In support of the construction of a new generation facility, a large power generation company hired Goodnight Consulting to develop a ten-year staffing and organizational development plan. The plan included over 160 job categories including operators, maintenance technicians, emergency planning staff, a variety engineers, management positions, etc. We also provided a broad range of job position descriptions and annual organizational charts for each of the 10 years in the plan.
This project provided our client with detailed plans that they used to develop their recruiting, hiring, capacity building, and training programs. Our team included a former utility COO, former CNOs, Site VPs and a Nuclear HR VP.
We were later asked to return and provide a “check and adjust” review of the actions they had taken based on our original study and their implementation approaches.
