
Assessment of Organizational Culture | What We Did
Goodnight Consulting performed an organizational assessment for a nuclear generating fleet. This engagement included an organizational cultural assessment. We applied our framework of 12 Cultural Areas to identify strengths and weaknesses, and compared them to best practices found at seven other nuclear fleet operating organizations. The project also included a Leadership Assessment of the clients’ senior management team.
We identified a range of improvement opportunities, determined the root causes of the drivers for those challenged areas, and provided recommendations that included leadership changes, organizational adjustments, and overall resource adjustments. Most of our recommendations were implemented by the client, and overall performance was improved.
Goodnight Consulting applied a small team of subject matter experts and former nuclear executives to conduct this engagement.
